Fighting The Fall By JB Salsbury Blog Tour

The toughest fighters aren’t created in the octagon but are born of necessity. When life delivers blow after punishing blow, you fight back or get destroyed.

Eve Dawson has had her fill of bad luck. A string of unhealthy relationships has left her angry, bitter, and frustrated. She’s given up on being happy and settles for content. Swearing off men, she repels advances and makes herself a challenge to even the most
persistent suitors. After all, how much can the fragile human heart take? But life isn’t finished with her, and when things can’t
possibly get worse . . . they do.

STAY ON YOUR FEET

It’s Cameron Kyle’s motto, but with his fighting career ripped from his grasp, a child he wasn’t strong enough to save, and a marriage that even the brawn of a heavyweight couldn’t hold together, it’s getting harder and harder to stay upright. He takes on the position
of CEO of the UFL, intent on hiding his biggest weakness in order
to forge a path that leads him back into the octagon.

When an old rival mysteriously gets wind of Cameron’s plan to fight again, he comes out of retirement to settle old debts, but secrets, lies, and betrayal threaten to deliver the death-blow. The distraction of a sass-mouthed girl seventeen years his junior is the last thing he needs until a tragic accident shatters the firm foundation of his resolve and he realizes just how far he’s fallen.

Will they risk it all and fight to be together?

OR DOES DEFEAT LIE WITHIN THE FALL?

Review By Sabrina:

I'm not surprised. The emotions I went through while reading Fighting the Fall were gut reaching. But, I'm not surprised. Why? Because Jamie knows how to write a story that will rip you apart piece by piece. Every one of her books puts me in this funk that I can never explain. What my heart went through while reading this amazing book is crazy. At certain parts I was squirming from the pain. I had to stop and put my iPad down to try to calm down. I stood up at times and had to walk around my house just to relax. When you can connect with the characters on a deep level like I did with Cam and Eve is the reason why I love reading. When i read a book that does that to me it stays with me forever.

Cam has been put through a lot in his life.  Wanting to fight and not being able to. Dealing with some deep hurt. He is doing his best to push through it all. No time for love. No time for anything. He just wants to get back in that octagon. Eve, truly has had some messed shit happen to her. Read Fighting for Flight for some of her story. Daddy issues and all. But she stands tall. Does all she can to survive and live her life. I love her almost as much as I love Raven.

I don't want to say much about the story because my ass might ruin it for all of you. I'm still in tears and I finished it about an hour before I wrote this. I think about Cameron and Eve and I cry. I think about Jonah and Raven and I cry. Jamie you fricken rock lady. Seriously. I'm in love with this story. Jonah will always have a place in my heart but I think Cameron just took over. Ya. That's all I can say. Just read the darn book. If you haven't read Jamie's other books get on it. You need to meet the whole gang. Don't skip this series. You will thank me after.

Jamie I hope and pray you never stop writing. Yup your books are magic to me. Thank you for all you do and thank you for being you. So proud to say I have had the opportunity to read your books. Happy reading!

Review By Cherry:

Oh my Jamie you done it again! It seems every time I read your books I say the same thing "omg this one is my favorite one" which can only mean I love your whole series.
This book is part of a series and yes can be read as a standalone. But why would you do that? Read them all ladies. Trust me when I say not one of them will disappoint!
Cam's story is a sad one. He has gone through some real bad life experiences. Cam is a MMA fighter but do to some things gone wrong he is forced to quit. Fighting is the most important part of Cam's life. What is a fighter to do without doing the only thing that makes him happy? Family life also has become hard for him.
Eve we met her in the first book as the Best friend! I loved her since. This girl is tough shit but she is broken. What I love about her is she will stand on her own too feet. But yes she has daddy issues which make men issues too. But god I love her! This girl goes through some serious stuff.
The story is well written. The emotions are so real. My heart ached for both the characters. Yes, at times I wanted to punch Cam in the face so he could get it together but totally understood where he was coming from. Jesus! Sex scenes are hot!!! Jamie knows how to write hot sexy scenes. But all in all I enjoyed this book so much. I want everyone to read it!!!!
Jamie you will always be one of my favorite authors!!! Keep the stories coming
